"Life After Death by PowerPoint 2010"
November 9, 2009
After Death by PowerPoint (LADP)"
has been upgraded! Sure Windows
7 has been released, but the REAL news
is the release of
"Life After Death
by PowerPoint 2010
I released the original LADP in 2007 and
it got a tremendous response from all of
you out there that have been forced to
sit through painfully BAD PowerPoint
presentations. Thank you so much for all
your kind words and support. Since then,
have submitted their opinions as to the PowerPoint behaviors they hate the most.
Plus, I have personally witnessed a few
new examples of PowerPoint gone awry.
So, I thought it was time to update and
upgrade LADP. We proudly present,
After Death by PowerPoint 2010":
A few favorite points are
repeated from the original "LADP", but for the
most part "LADP 2010" has ALL NEW PowerPoint
"DON'T"s. The new bits include: NO moving text,
FONT analysis, and an in-depth study of graphs
of graphs, charts of charts, spread sheets of
spread sheets, etc. And we're still not done!
There are still some things we need to add.
Laser usage, for example. What's the BEST way to
use a Laser Pointer - DON'T! Unless you have
hands as steady as a neurosurgeon - PUT DOWN the
Laser Pointer! No wonder cats will chase a laser
pointer for hours - I want to track down that
annoying flickering little dot and kill it, too!
It's distracting. It's annoying. It makes ME
nervous. And if the presenter has had a triple
latte before the meeting, the presentation
begins to resemble a Pink Floyd Laser Light
Show. Until the next version LADP... (click).
