I have always thought that PowerPoint was
evil. Now, I have proof. Look at the chart below. The
number of PowerPoint presentations has steadily gone up
every year. In 2003, there were 23 million PowerPoint
presentations EVERY day. That number rose to 54 million
per day in 2008 and it's expected to be 88 million EVERY
day by 2010. No wonder people are so stressed.

How bad is this "PowerPoint" abuse? What are the
consequences of our overdosing on charts, graphs, and
annoying transitions? Well, take a look at this graph
below. The number of hungry and starving kids in the
world is also rising:

It doesn't take a genius to see the correlation.
There can only be one conclusion:
|

|
PowerPoint abuse causes
world hunger. For every unnecessary, painfully boring,
repetitive PowerPoint presentation we are forced to sit
through - another child goes hungry. Why? Maybe because
parents are TOO busy making new PowerPoint slides to
feed their children! Or parents are tweaking their
animations for the 36th time! Or adjusting their FONTS!
Or adding 6 more bullet-points! All while their hungry
child sit by waiting for Mommy or Daddy to walk away
from the computer and feed them. STOP PowerPoint abuse
NOW. STOP world hunger NOW. It's not for us - it's for
the children.
